Good productive day.

In clinic today my mom came in and let me give her two sealants and put her on Nitrous to pass of a PE. What a nice mommy! After that I finished up a patient who had two quads of a four and two quads of a three. The afternoon I saw my board patients husband, who last semester was a class three. Today he was more of a maintenance patient but my professor was super nice and gave me two quads of a three and two quads of a perio maintenance. Now the only requirements I still need is a 1A which I have scheduled for next week. I also only have one more PE, 8 PAs, and 1 pano. Almost done! The end is in site! Whooo Hooo!

Only 3 weeks to go...

Yesterday was Pam's funeral, it was a very emotional day but the service was beautiful. She was such an amazing and determined girl and we all will miss her.

Today, I cleaned one quad of a class III in the morning, and the remaining quad of my board patient in the afternoon. I now only have three more clinic days left at Weber, I am so excited to graduate and move on with my life. I am so ready to be done with school!!

No more teachers, No more books!

Okay so not really. I still have teachers and books, but I am done studying from them!! All my boards are done. It feels so amazing to have them all over with! I passed both the written and clinical local anesthetic exams, now I will just have to wait a few weeks for the results for the dental hygiene exam. So, so far I have successfully passed 3 out of 5 of my exams! I also have to mention how incredible my board patient and her family are. I know I have said so in the passed, but I feel like no matter what I say it just isn't enough. They are so amazing!! It was also pretty awesome giving injections today with no instructor watching me and critiquing me, scary but awesome! I can not believe I only have 4 weeks left until graduation!! AHH!

The end is coming....

So it seems that time is flying by and that I just don't have enough time to get everything I need done. This week we have the UDA convention on Thursday and Friday, then I work on Saturday.Next week, Monday I have a bunch of tedious tasks to do to get ready for my remaining exams, Tuesday my husband wants me to go with him to get his new truck. Then on Wednesday and Thursday I have my finally three board exams!!!! I am really freaking out about them!! AHHH! I have never been so stressed in my life! Oh, and I forgot to mention... I still need to study! When will be able to breath again?!!

Crazy days...

Our crazy day at the VA. First began with a small accident at 7:30am. The man that ran into us yelled at Karina and she told him "you need to calm down...you ran into me!" It was hilarious! Then after the VA we went up to the hospital to visit a friend. After that on our way to this pastry place for some delicious desserts Karina's car just quit running. We called a tow and hitched a ride with Marilyn's sister-in-law to the front runner. We didn't make it back to Ogden until around 8:00pm! We never got the delicious dessert, and to top it all off Karina's dad was able to start it right up after it was dropped off at her house! HA! Who knows what happened but man it was insane! Today at Weber clinic we had Local Anesthetic mockboards... It was a great learning experience! Then in the afternoon.....yep another NO SHOW!! UGH! Where do I find all of these unreliable people?! On the somewhat bright side, today was the last clinic day before boards!
